Why Women’s Liberation is Doomed

For there has never been a case of men and women reigning together, but wherever on the earth men are found, there we see that men rule, and women are ruled, and that on this plan, both sexes live in harmony.” Spinoza “Political Treatise”

This has been the opinion of many men through history. Aristotle notes the universal resemblance in society of women and slaves. Confucian’s speak of the three obedience’s of women. In their youth to their Father, then to their Husband, and last to their Eldest Son. While it is easy to dismiss these as the observations of antiquated sexism, the almost universal nature of this phenomenon suggests a cause rooted in human nature. Increasingly modern science is bearing this out. As usual it is not Politically Correct to mention such things, but like all public hypocrisy, Political Correctness frequently gives itself the lie by citing facts in one place which demonstrate something they would not wish said.

Studies of depression in men and women are showing strong genetically determined differences between the sexes. One study showing such genetic differences was done by George Zubenko of the University of Pittsburgh. Out of 19 chromosomal regions linked to chronic depression only 16 were the same between sexes. Studies popularly cited in various news services have shown that girls are twice as likely to suffer chronic depression and attempt suicide as teenage boys. They have also shown that girls do drugs for different reasons than boys. Girls do them to escape depression boys do them to experiment and explore because of this girls are more likely to suffer addiction. Feldman & Elliott state that the peak age for depression and low self-esteem is the same, between 13 and 14. Depression and low self-esteem are linked. Girls are programmed genetically to suffer chronic depression more than boys. Girls are genetically programmed to have lower self-esteem than boys. Which half of the population is going to be chronically subjected by the other half, the half which is smaller, weaker, less physically aggressive and programmed to have low self-esteem, or the other half? It is politically correct to mention these studies to garner sympathy for women but not to discuss their implications with respect to traditional beliefs that women are designed to be ruled by men.

It gets stranger. One politically incorrect study demonstrated that semen acts as an antidepressant for women. The study was conducted by Gordon Gallup at the State University of New York. Another study contradicting traditional feminist rhetoric about marriage being the exploitation of women by men has demonstrated that marriage reduces depression among women. It was conducted by David De Vaus from LaTrobe University in Melbourne. It appears that girls are designed to be drug dependent and to need sex with men to get the drugs they need for self-esteem. A mad scientist designing a system to reduce women to slavery could not have done a more sinister and diabolical job than Mother Nature.

The picture becomes more and more complete as you add more bits to it. Studies of the reaction of people to smell show that people tend to be attracted to smells from outside their kinship group. This varies with the pregnancy or non-pregnancy of a woman. Fertile women are attracted to the body odor of men outside their kinship group, pregnant women are attracted to the smell of people inside their kinship group. This is the biological basis for a matrilineal but not matriarchal society.

In nature when a girl enters puberty she starts to experience depression and low self-esteem. Her nose wired directly into her subconscious makes the physical presence of her kinship group unpleasant and drives her into the company of males outside her kinship group. Low self-esteem leads her to allow such males to take physical liberties with her. She gets an insertion of semen which contains drugs which help her self-esteem. Her mood improves and she discovers that letting men do what they want with her makes her feel better. In Talmudic Law, conjugal duties are imposed on the man. The husband is legally required to have sex with the wife a certain number of times a week. These ancient laws recognize that women have a greater physiological need for sex than men.

At the same time her brain goes through a sudden growth spurt, the new complex of synapses, form to reflect the new life experience and her brain sets into a pattern based on the behaviors she experiences. Those new life experiences include the relationship between positive self-image and letting men do what they want with her. This will result in her becoming programmed to accept the physical dominion of men over her.

Women are designed to need men more than men need women. It is easier for women to get men than for men to get women. A man needs to win a dominance struggle of some sort to get a woman. A woman merely needs to be available to get a man.

If men were programmed to need women as strongly and as early as women are to need men, most men would kill themselves from frustration before becoming mature and strong enough to get a mate.

All of this modern science paints a picture of women remarkably close to that held in antiquity. It is not the complete picture. As a woman gets older and more experienced the control that hormones have on her behavior will be lessened by experience. She will become more mature and less moved by feelings that she has gained experience with. While that natural conditioning will endure to some degree she will desire more respect and recognition from her mate.

Other studies show that women are driven by physiology to be unfaithful to their men. Libido increases when outside the company of a regular partner. Women are driven by nature to follow a reproductive strategy. This is how they will act naturally and only strong social sanctions can modify this behavior. Culture provides these necessary sanctions. Without such sanctions, women will tend to do things which result automatically in their being rendered chattel property of men. Such things as are hinted at in Kipling’s famous poem at the beginning of the section on husband murder in the black community.

Kipling’s poem underlines another fact about women accepted throughout antiquity. Wimmin ‘r meener than men. The meanness of the teenage girls to each other has been the subject of numerous books and much discussion in recent years. Women are insensitive to the feelings of others unless they are obliged by some force to pay attention to them. They may be more aware of them than men, better able to read faces and voices than men, but unless something forces them to care they just don’t.

An amusing factoid about women and power and its abuse is noted in the section on abortion and discussed in more detail in the article on Husband Murder in Black America. In the more or less matriarchal family system remaining in the black community as a heritage of slavery, women kill their husbands more often than men kill their wives in the patriarchal white system.

Women did not evolve in circumstances where they could exercise a right to kill their husbands. Men did evolve in circumstances where they could kill their wives. This right existed almost universally as a recognized legal prerogative in most early civilizations. If a man kills a woman, there is a biological cost involved. He kills potential children, he kills the caregiver of his children. If a woman kills a man the biological cost is less. His contribution to childbearing is significantly less than hers and more easily replaced. Men have instinctive restraint in their treatment of women.

Women evolved under circumstances where their behavior towards men was restrained by the superior strength of men and they had no need to evolve such an instinctive restraint. This means that women given power over men are much more likely to abuse men than when the circumstances are reversed. A matriarchal society will inevitably see more gratuitous abuse of men than a patriarchal society will see of women.

Women having greater verbal abilities and native social skills than men will use these faculties to paint a noble face on these abuses. The female scientist doing the work on spouse murder in the black community said that she was sure more black women killed their spouses because they were forced to live in abusive relationships due to the shortage of black men. This is a blanket use of the Battered Wife Syndrome to explain a sociological phenomenon.

Discussion of BWS with mental health professionals in two different email lists, one limited to persons scoring in the top 1% of IQ and a second dedicated to issues related to law enforcement and the role psychology, psychiatry, etc play in the Judicial System reveals that it has no accepted scientific validity and considers areas where it has acquired legal validity to be in grievous error with respect to the facts. The positive spin on it is that it focused attention on domestic violence and thus helped to improve conditions for women. Other than that it is little more than a clever rationalization to allow women to murder their husbands in cold blood.

Women who are actually battered do experience PTSD, but the syndrome resulting in spouse murder is fiction. BWS remains a feature of popular culture, movies like “The Burning Bed” have been made to make it into a staple of popular belief. Women are taught that if a man ever raises his voice to them he will hit them, if he hits them, he will beat them, and if he beats them he will kill them. Women believe that if a man ever raises his voice in an argument they will be killed by him eventually and can kill him in self-defense. Or so daytime television teaches us. Psychological professionals note that it is difficult to get real articles on this issue published in politically correct journals like those published by most colleges. A generation of professionals is growing up accepting pseudo-science as science.

This tremendous exercise in insanity has been reached one little step at a time over several decades of Women’s Liberation. These are excesses of Liberty properly called License. Again from Plato’s “Republic”,

It appears inevitable since women possess no natural restraint from excess in their abuse of men that they will fall into the excesses of abuse which are license and this will result in their reduction to chattel slavery.

These excesses in liberty always result in a movement to reduce the liberated population back to a servile condition. http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/Garden/8434/sex.htm is a website which promotes the idea of repealing the 19^th amendment the amendment which gives women the right to vote. This is a crackpot idea. The thing which should make women stop and think is the simple fact that the author is able to support his position with a large number of scientific studies and even government sponsored studies documenting the negative effects of various feminist programs and ideas on society. A great many of the studies he quotes have been done by scientists who genuinely support the idea of women’s liberation but are only interested in the facts. In order to control this backlash against the abuse of men by women, it is necessary now for the feminist movement to take a close look at itself, reject any parts of its agenda which do not represent real rights but are abusive of men, and redefine itself in terms of real principles of liberty and freedom. Which means a much greater emphasis on the fundamental reciprocity of all legitimate human rights and strong feminist support of sanctions against the emotional or other abuse of men by women.

It is worth noting that this pattern of excesses in liberty leading to tyranny has been noted throughout history as the quote from Plato shows. The quote applies to all liberated groups regardless of sex or race. Even if women did possess an instinctive restraint in their treatment of men they would have inevitably fallen into some errors of this sort in the natural progression from oppression, to liberty, to license, back to oppression. This is why it is inevitable that women will be reduced to chattel property in the next hundred years or so. Or is it? The section on why women’s liberation is not doomed will take a look at societies in which women had a high legal status and maintained that status for centuries.
